Q: What is a good, Quick, Easy Christmas craft for a 5 year old?
I am having a Christmas party/Get together with some people I know and their Kids are coming. Any Ideas?
A: make gingerbread men, ginger bread houses, make reindeer (get paper, u draw a deer on it and they color it it...) make mini snowmen.. show them the movie Rudolph the rednose reindeer (the one where the characters r made out of clay) im 13 and i still love that movie lolz.! uhmm. thats all i can htink of rite now. srry ^.^
o! one of the answeres i read gave me an idea!
b4 it starts to snow, gather A BUNCH of pinecones! then, glue then together so they would be shaped as trees, then let the kids paint them green and put dots on it. then u could cut out a star from paper, put glue on the bottem of it, and let the kid stick it on!
Q: What is an easy Christmas craft for age 2-5 yrs to do?
A: lots of things to try...best to let the children do as much as possible...
one of the favorites is making an ornament...you can use a variety of things for the main section i have used card stock, construction paper, wrapping paper, cardboard---cut them into shapes of your or the childs choice-have the children color or decorate with choices of items glitter, punched out shapes, macaroni(prepainted), wrapping paper, yarn---once dry cut out the middle and place a picture of the child inside(be sure to name and date the back) and pass on to the parents to hang on the tree(can also make larger versions to actually be picture frames)
try painting with branches of christmas trees, the needles fall off and when dried and cut into shapes makes a nice type of sachet
try the reindeer idea but use paint to make acutal prints--brown for the main part of the face--choose either brown, red, or green to paint the hands for antlers-use the thumbs with black for eyes and thumbs with red for the nose and then allow the child to decorate the outside or the inside for the parents(be sure to name and date the back)
also use hand prints to make trees(can also do cut outs of hands rather than paint) or wreaths, and then make other decorations
make paper chains--depending on the childs ages use construction papaer or wrapping paper to make the links and either paste, glue, tape, or staples(be careful can cause scratches or cuts)
have the children help to make a christmas game like pin the nose on santa, or rudolph or star on the tree--using a large piece of cardboard or plywood to paint a plain color and then design and paint with the help of the children and then have fun playing together
string large pasta noodles(prepainted-either by adults or the children themselves) on fat yarn to create cool jewelry
make collages using pictures from magazines, newspapers to create santa letters or posters of what the children want
try making playdough colored in seasonal colors to encourage the creativeness of the children
try some easy seasonal recipies like cookies, breads, candy, lots to choose from
practice wrapping gifts with old boxes and paper
running out of room hope you like the ideas some of the other ones sound like they have possibilities
Q: what are some easy christmas presents to make for little or no money or using household items...?
i like to make things ahead of time and plan ahead of time and i like to do the same with christmas presents...i love to do crafts and i need some ideas of christmas crafts to make if you have a lot of crafts items or by using things around the hpuse... i want to make something different....so the first GOOD idea gets 10 points....
A: Christmas Music or Songs, composed by yourself
Or if it is for kids, you can let them play treasure hunt and you place your christmas presents for them around the house, using household items for the hints of the place.

Q: Is there an easy craft my daughter could make for a greek Christmas project ?
This is for a reading project for a 9th grade gifted student. Need to begin work on it now. Any help is greatly appreciated.
A: I'm not sure if this is the kind of project your thinking of, but for my mythology class we had to do a project and I made a Mosaic in the style of the time period. Another student made a diorama of the Roman home. Hope this helps!
Q: what kind of cool, easy crafts can i get teenage girls to do?
for christmas, i'm trying to get my girls to make each other presents instead of buying things, so they can appreciate how much the others were willing to do for them. what kind of easy crafts can they make that will be useful for one another? (they don't knit very well)
A: No sew fleece blankets. Bracelets made with semi precious stone beads on stretchy bead cord. Decorated candles using super strong double stick tape and glitter or tiny hole-less beads. Flip flops decorated with beads or other embellishments. A paper mache box from the craft store decoupaged with copies of treasured photos and motifs cut from gift wrap paper to be used as a jewelry or treasure box
Q: good christmas crafts for a 4 year old?
im spending a day of christmas stuff for my niece
what is some good easy crafts
A: home made orniments (you could make them out of like felt or something and use just about any decoration on or, or try painting glass orniments) making your own christmas shirts, sweats, etc. (and by making i mean like decorating, and i recommend fabric paint, it takes forever to dry but its awesome!) baking cookies, you could get her a one of those little mini trees that are only like a foot tall (they generally range in price for $1-$5) and get her some little orniments to put on it, she will feel special because she gets her own tree :)
also check Oriental Trading Company, they have tons of craft sets! i know someone else already suggested it, but i thought i would again :) it sounds like the perfect thing for you

You can make it using 5 pieces of paper, and that would be a star in stead of a snowflake.
Maybe pop-up cards?
Or maybe a pretty Japanese flower.

A: my brother likes to make a christmas ornament each year and he always makes attractive and simple ones:
1. a styrofoam ball, cover it in some kind of fabric that you like, tie at the top with a loop for hanging, insert craft needles topped with sequins or other decoration, and insert whole cloves for a pleasant christmas-y smell. easy!
2. last year he just got some funky copper wire and twisted it into funky shapes, put a tie on the top and some beads on some of the ends.
