Q: Do you see the news report today about banning christmas decorations at work?
Its because the company might be sued is this political correctness at its very worst. There are other guidelines about the christmas party. You cannot play to much modern music in case it offend old workers and you cannot have a raffle 'cos that will apparently offend Muslims for some reason

A: Yeah I read it last night, it's complete and utter bollocks isn't it?!! The lunatics have well and truly taken over the asylum!! Well done Clive, I agree!!

Q: Having a party 9th December is it to early to be Christmas themed?
I'm having a house party on the 9th of December, its the only Saturday thats convenient with people going home or working. I wanted it to be a Christmas party but nows its on the 9th is that too early??? like parties at Christmas as its nice with all decorations, tree and Christmas music etc? It probably seems early to me as I normally forget to put my tree up until nearly xmas eve so will be strange doing it sooner. I think a mix of Christmas songs and normal stuff is a good idea, not too over the top

A: Perfect time for a Christmas party! Also, you have the advantage of being in the early run of xmas parties so people aren't too partied out to come and have a good time.

Q: Christmas party!?
Im having a Christmas Party and everyone (girls only!) is going to sleepover! i need some tips on decorations, games, music, movies and other ideas. thankyou so much! p.s. for 12 year olds

A: Get a bunch of christmas movies, christmas music and such. Decorate wherever you're having this party with christmas lights, fake snow, decorations. Have lots of candycanes and other christmas candy. Go to a walmart and you should be able to find great decorations! Why don't you do a secret santa type thing and have everyone going to that party's names in a bag. Everyone picks a name and whoever they get, they have to buy a present for. But noone can know who they got. At the party you can exchange the gifts and it really is alot of fun. All you really need at this age is music and movies and you should have alot of fun. Good luck, hope you have fun!

Q: How to throw a fast and easy Christmas party?
I am pregnant and have NO energy to do cooking or fancy decorating (other than normal Christmas stuff that my husband is doing for me). We have another daughter and rarely get together with our friends, so my husband REALLY wants to throw a Christmas party on the 14th (our only free day this month). I am not in the mood to go all out, but I also pride myself in my great parties. Anyone have any advice on how to do easy food and decorations, without sacrificing quality of the party?

A: Have a DIY party...have the hubby buy some simple food (precooked ham, baked potatoes) and set up broccoli, melted cheese, sour cream, etc. as sort of a baked potato bar if you are wanting to do a meal One of my very favorite and easy things to do is a dessert DIY party-buy a bunch of different frostings, cookie cutters, sprinkles, etc. and have people cut out and bake together, then all decorate. Its also easy to do dipped pretzels with white and dark chocolate, etc. that people can do themselves Have festive music playing of course and as far as decorations-sets of twinkle lights go a LONG way. Paired with your usual Christmas decor that the husband is doing, have him put up lights all over the inside of the house. Overall, have it look exactly like what you want-a fun get-together for people where they get to be active and enjoy each other's company while doing something-way more fun that standing around sipping cocktails and making smalltalk anyway! Good luck!

I looked around alot of stores for Thanksgiving decorations and found NOTHING... All they had was christmas decorations, is it too soon to decorate with christmas stuff? A: I was asking myself the same question... "to decorate or not to decorate?" I've decided to go for it and decorate the inside of my house- cause I'm the one who's going to be enjoying it anyways... I'll do the outside lights and the tree after thanksgiving. Christmas is exciting- Go for it!

Q: Do you have any Christmas party planning tips?
I'm planning a Christmas party for the youth at my church. I need some tips on affordable and whimsical decorations. I was thinking about buying some of those styrofoam cones and decorating them with wrapped candies as table centerpieces. One aspect of the party that I don't have to worry about it food. The parents of the children will be preparing dishes, bringing party platters, and bringing drinks. I guess my biggest concern is trying to make this the most memorable and magical party for them. What kind of entertainment or games or crafts should I have? Should I have some kind of party favor? Please help!

Q: Things to do and have at a Christmas party?
I'm planning a Christmas party with my girl friends this holiday. What should I get? (things to do, decorations, food, etc.) What things can we do?? If you've ever had a party like this, tell me about it! P.S. We are in high school sophomores.

A: So you can save a little money and maybe get more food and stuff and just for fun you should do "Secret Santa". You know where everyone draws a name and they just get a gift for that one person instead of buying a present for EVERYONE. Or you can all buy one gift and then draw names for who gets to open a present first and then you can all steal and trade gifts from eveyone (but every gift can only be stolen 3 times). You should get pizza and you should all decorate a christmas tree while listening to christmas songs. Have fun!
