Q: What's a good Christmas gift to give a law student?
Any suggestions on personalized/engraved gifts would be even more helpful.

A: a card w/cash or gift certificate

Q: What are homemade gifts my kids, 7, 3, could make for grandparents for x-mas? Love to use pictures, x-mas car?
I'd love to use pictures, printed out from digital camera, and possibly recycled Christmas cards to personalize the gifts. What could we make? Thanks for your ideas! Merry Christmas.

Q: I need some christmas gift ideas for my boyfreind?
My boyfriend's life revolves around music, he loves hard rock and metal music. i wanted to get him a personalized gift that is music related. he has every CD made, so that wont work. I was originally going to buy him concert tickets but there's no good metal concerts in the area in the next few months......anyone have any ideas for me? i would really appreciate it :)

A: Cologne, watches

Q: Is a personalized teddy bear a stupid Christmas gift for a man in his 30s?
I'm 25 and I've been dating this guy who's in his 30s for about 3-4 months now. It's Christmastime and I'm at a lose as to what to get him. I thought of cologne, but he'd only wear it w/ me since he doesn't wear it often. He has enough watches, he's not too tech-savvy, and I wanted to do something different than DVDs or a sweater. He's a big guy and I'm kinda short and I affectionately call him my "teddy bear". So I'm flirting with the idea of getting him a personalized teddy bear from Build-a-Bear and since he's a Chicago sports fan, have the bear dressed in either White Sox or Chicago Bears garb. I mean, it has sentimental value and a bit of his own personality with the sports stuff. I'm just not sure if a grown-ass man would like something like that or if a teddy bear would be too juvenile a gift. Feedback or any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

A: It's definately a cute idea for a kid; not a grown man though. Perhaps a token (teddy bear) keychain or ornament (or something) that symbolizes him as your teddy bear. I think you're on to something better when you talk about his liking the Chicago Sports teams.......there's got to be somewhere you could buy him a jersey and have his last name personalized on the back? Good Luck to you! Hope all goes well~ Peace & Kindness An aside......if you do get him the teddy bear, and you end up married with kids with him......it'll be a great keepsake that the kids will LOVE! lol Below is a link for chicago bears memorabilla.....as it seems to encompass what you're looking for. Either way, I got to give you props for thinking it all out!

Q: Christmas gifts for non-Christians?
I'd like to get a few little Christmas presents for the people I work with this year. It's my first Christmas with this company, so I don't know what the norm is. I work with a lot of middle Eastern people, from Egypt, Lebanon, Iran, etc. I'm wondering if it would be acceptable or appreciated to give these non-Christian-holiday-celebrating people a Christmas gift. It wouldn't be Christmas-themed, more like a personalized coffee mug or something like that. Thoughts?

A: it is completely fine, but make sure the gift don`t have any religious symbols or meanings (No Crosses). just a note that being Middle Eastern does not mean that they are non-Christian as 70% of arabs in the US are Christians.

Q: How do I nicely stop a relative from nagging what I want for Christmas? And stop exchanging gifts.?
Two of my brothers wives are just stay at home wives(one is a mom) and they love to shop! I am a working mom, no money to blow and no time to get all 14 people(5bros, 5wives/girlfriends, mom, dad,2 nephews) a personalized gift. I do not mean to be scroge, I love buying for the children and my parents, but I think adults in ther 20-40's do not need to be buying each other gifts. Our price range seems to be in the $20 range....so if there was something we really wanted or needed in that range we would buy it ourselves. Every year I pull my hair out trying to find the perfect gift for 12 people, some of which I barley know! And then I pay intrest on my credit card for the next six months. I love to give but I just can't afford this with a house payment, baby, bills and a car payment. They are thoughtful and love to shop. I do not want to hurt their feelings...but somethings got to give! My sister in-law will not stop asking me what me and my husband want. Theres nothing I hate more! Help! Sorry, I did not mean to insult anyone with the stay at home wife/mom thing. I would love more than anything to be a stay at home mom. I know it is not an easy job... I just meant it for this perticular one who goes shopping with her mother 5 out of 7 days a week with the kids. I on the other hand work 40 hours stuck at a job and do not have much time for shopping even with my son. My point is the personalized shopping is not an issue for her. She is a very thoughtful person, and it is not a a fault she does not work, just a little more freedom than me!

A: You can do as the first answer said...Or what you can do is the day you get together is each adult puts a gift in the center of the room. Everyone is given a number 1-12 lets say and the first person picks a gift from the pile...Number 2 then goes and can either steal the gift from #1 or pick from the pile and this goes on till everyone has had a turn...There has to be rules so...The gift can only be stolen 3 times, once the 3rd person steals it from the 2nd person, the gift is locked, no one can take it...Let me tell you, you will not believe how crazy your relatives can be until they are fighting for a gift, plus everyone dies laughing their bums off. This will save everyone money, you can also set a limit on how much each gift is...So you and your hubby picks a gift to add to the pile, thats 2 gifts not 12...Its best to find thing that anyone can use... The kids could exchange names, this game doesnt work for the kiddos, it makes them cry...Heck i seen grown up cry playing this LOL Also set an age limit for the what we call the adult game...Have a blast

Q: What is a good Christmas gift for a boyfriend?
We're both 17 and we've been dating 6 months. This is our first Christmas together and I want to get him something he would really love. He has plenty of cologne and video games, etc. For his Birthday I got him a personalized dog tag necklace and he loved it; he wears it all the time. Any suggestions on anything else teenage boys would like for Christmas? And nothing dirty guys!

A: here's some good ideas of things to make for him... 1. get a picture of you and then add a quote like "all i want for christmas is you" and then print it out on card stock and cut out pieces so that it'll be a customized puzzle. 2. make him a book of notes, like one per day for the next month or year. 3.decorate a picture frame with your picture in it. 4. some of his favorite candies. 5. a mix cd with songs reminding you of him and like some christmas songs too. 6. a scrapbook. 7. so i learned how to make this origami box in a class but it's really cute a little challenging but he'll like it and you can use paper that is either christmasy or reminds you of him... here's a video that shows how to make it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCyMdaeFB... it's a little difficult but they turn out nice. 8. an ornament for his tree. 9. a coupon book for stuff he likes like back rubs and what ever else.. maybe likee you but dinner next time you go out or can pick the movie. they could be dirty or not. or both depending on your maturity and legth of your relationship. 10.make a basket to put it all in.

Q: What is a nice Christmas gift that you can make? Nice, thoughtful & creative.?
I would also like some way to personalize each gift? Thanks for you ideas. This year money will be a little tighter, but I want peoples gifts to be made with my own hand this year.

A: We did this for a relative and it was a neat thing he could use. What we did was purchase a cheap wall clock. Then we scoured the internet for a favorite graphic of his, resized it to fit the face of the clock and then put that graphic as the clock face. He loved the birthday gift and it was small enough for him to put in his suitcase to travel home.

Q: Christmas Gifts for my BFFs?
I need to get gifts for my four best friends but i don't know what to get them i was either thinking jewelry or something personalized but I'm not sure any ideas? BTW we're 19 years old.

A: do them a little gift bag each. Personalise it to there personality's. You can get clear bags or xmas ones, that cost abut £1.00 Each! Then add some pretty beads (there favourate colour), The ones like Lasenza's are nice enough. Then add a handful of their favourite chocolates. Add makeup and nail stuff for the girl-est, max factor do very good stuff and revlon for nails. You could add a few face mask's, key rings, pens and diary's(they may need one now they have a busy life with working). body sprays, perfumes, bath stuff, boots do reall nice stuff (also it's 3 for 2 now!) You could go to a soap shop, and get one each for them all, You can get pink/blue ones, glittery ones; any one you want. lottery tickets. Some hair dye, that they already use, it will save them money. A new top each would also go down very well, buy from there favourate stores, miss selfridge, river island, topshop do nice ones. If any of them are smokers, you could add a 20 pack of cigrettes. Most smokers like LnB from my veiwing any way. A bottle of their favoriate drinks will also be good, or some nice quilaty glasses. Or a nice pair of PJ's from lasenza( make sure they are long bottoms, it will be cold on christmas) added with a nice mug and some instant hot choc, so they can have that on xmas eve. A stack full/ bundle of their favorate dvds, or christmas ones. - a nice hot water bottle and a cute cover for it. Or you could buy white mugs and get mug paint for them, and paint untill it looks good! :) ,if you wanted jewelry for them you could get them a nice pair of earrings or a ring. Also buy them a card from a card store, which has been brought for them. Or you could make your own! They will love the fact you've taken time into making their card.

Q: What's a good Christmas gift idea for my boyfriend?
Well, before we started going out, my current boyfriend and I were best friends. Now that we're dating, for Christmas, I want to come up with a memorable gift that symbloizes our love for each other. (We've been dating for 5 months.) He plays World of Warcraft (which I am not fond of), and I am getting him a certain book for that game. Anyways, I was thinking I was going to get us matching necklaces (maybe of silver?), with our initials engraved in them. Like, on each necklace, put C. J. + A. L., and maybe a heart circling them. (NOT my real initials! =P) Anyway, I need to know if to guys this idea sounds lame or whatnot. To girls: Does this make sense to you? If not (or somewhat), what is a good personalized gift I can get for my boyfriend? **NOTE: I do not have much money to spend - the necklaces would have to be reasonable; but still, I don't want a cheap piece of crap. How much do you think this would cost me?** Thanks in advance - Any suggestions will be taken into consideration! =D

A: haha, my boyfriend plays World of Warcraft too! ugh. and i think the necklaces would be such a good idea! very thoughtful, original and memorable. i really dont know how much it would cost you.. it depends on where you go.

Q: What is a good Christmas gift for a 12 year old boy?
I want to make something for my little brother who lives in another state. Hes 12 and would appreciate anything he gets but I wanna make him something cool. Maybe something personalized. I know he listens to music that is very inappropriate for his age, he likes skateboarding, swimming, and other "boy stuff". Anyone with a 12 year old or even 12 years ols please answer! Thanks!

A: It depends on what your budget is. If you willing to spend between $200-300, I would recommend: ipod touch (play music, movies, games, pictures, wireless, wifi) - awesome for outdoor, especially he like to skate or nintendo wii (they have awesome skateboard games, sports games like baseball, tennis, golf, bowling, boxing, etc - great for kids and family) if budget is bit less around $100-$200: bike, skateboard (with safety set), regular ipod (music/pictures) Less than $100: swimming gear, some fun games if he have a gaming console already (games like sports/skating/adventures), clothes, nice sneakers, ipod suffle (play music only) etc.. I have a 10 year old, I brought him nintendo wii (with sports games, he absolutely loves it).. I would highly recommend wii if it fits your budget and your little brother doesn't have one already. If not new sneakers are nice. All kids loves games, outdoor sports and sneakers..
