Q: Where can I buy clear Christmas Lights in store, this time of year?
I'm looking for those clear (white) mini Christmas lights. Can I get them in a store, without having to order online?

A: Try B&Q they normally sell off all their christmas stuff about now!

Q: christmas lights?
does anyone know where to get clear christmas tree lights with a gold cable??

A: take out the bulbs on a normal set, and spray with gold paint! I wanted gold ones a few years ago and it worked!

Q: Do you have clear or multi colored lights on your Christmas tree?
We have multi color

A: Multicolored, usually flashing or programmable. There's just something about the glow of the different colors on the ornaments.

Q: Clear, solid color or multicolored Christmas lights?

A: Gosh -- I mix them all - - blue icicle style lights from the roofline, multi-colors on the bushes that are in the garden areas, solid colors in the sculptures of wreath lights (that I made myself), and ... clear lights to frame the shape of a snowflake or star that I put on the roof itself.

Q: What color lights do you have on your christmas tree.I have clear twinkling ones on mine.Just being nosey, lol?

A: mine are just non flashing multi coloured ones i did have some flashing ones last year but i couldnt get them to work this year so i had to get some more xxx

Q: What kind of Christmas lights?
What kind of Christmas lights do you like on a christmas tree, white/clear or multicolored? If you decorate the outside of your house do you like the same? I have always liked colored lights.

A: I have always liked clear lights but my husband and 3 year old like the multicolored. We have clear lights inside (tree, garland, etc). Outside, we have the big multicolored lights all around the house and then white icicle lights in the front (in front of the colored lights). I had no say-so in it, I came home from shopping on Friday and my husband had already hung them; they look pretty good though. The kids love them so that's all that matters.

Q: Christmas Tree Lights?
Do you think colored or clear lights look better on a Christmas Tree?

A: I believe this would depend on what color your Christmas tree is (some are white, some are fibre Optic ect.), what decor you have in the general area and what else you are going to put on the tree (how many decorations, what type ect) Mostly, its just personal preference. In my opinion, I like a normal green spruce type tree with some blue/silver garlin (rope type tinsle), blue and white LED lights and some personal style ornaments. I also enjoy lightly decorating the room around my tree in a style to match, maybe some red bows and garlin around the home. Colored flashy lights seem so tacky now-a-days. ^^

Q: Net lights on christmas tree?
Do you think those net lights that they put on outdoor trees will look good on an indoor christmas tree instead of the string ones? I put on the clear string lights on my tree tonight but i dont think they look even as the net lights would look. What do you think. Its a 6.5ft noble fir fresh tree.

A: I would think they would look funny. The net lights are designed for outdoor lighting, and to be viewed from a distance in the dark, and having them inside would light up the netting part. I'm sure your tree looks great just the way it is! You did it yourself and can be proud of the effort you put in, because Lord knows putting up lights is a pain in the butt!

Q: Poll: On your ideal Christmas tree, what color lights?
On your ideal Christmas tree, what color lights? 1-Clear/white 2-Another solid color 3-Multicolor

A: my IDEAL TREE? Like neon orange and purple, but my tree is pretty damn good this year--it has white lights, red ribbon, and silver ornaments, i've never had a tree that coordinated so well before--we usually just throw a bunch of homemade crap on it

Q: CHRISTMAS question!?
every year I put up a big christmas display, i get all my christmas stuff ready ahead of time so i dont have to do anything besides put it up when it comes time. Anyways I like to have coloured christmas lights but the problem is the colour coding on the bulb chips off and makes the lights look ugly . is there anything i can do to prevent the light bulbs from chipping. I dont like all clear christmas lights. And is there anything I could do about people stealing my christmas light bulbs.

A: Well, you have to stick with the chipping part unless you look for ones that have a coat around them. Usually after 2-3 years, the colors will chip off. If you get the clear BUT COLORED on the inside lights then it will last longer. About the stealing...can't help you there. Maybe you can put an alarm or camera or something, but if people steal your lights, then I can't help you. Just like people stealing your car....

Q: Color or clear?
I was just curious, do you like color or clear Christmas lights? I know its complicatied, but whats your all time fav?

A: Depends on what it is on... My tree has clear and blue lights I don't care for multicolored lights. However I do like them outside on a house.

Q: What is your favorite color of Christmas lights?
Do you like the multi-colored, red, blue, clear or so on. I was just curious. I am trying to decide what color to put on the house this year. I have already seen so many pretty colors...but I can't decide. Thanks for the help. Oops! I forgot to say that right now I think that the clear are my fave. Thanks for the answers.

A: They are so pretty, aren't they? I change my lights each year, and this year we have clear icicle lights on our house and multi-colored lights on the privacy fence surrounding the house. Tonight, we're filling a thermos with cocoa and taking a drive around to look at all the lights.....

Q: Can I change ALL the lights on my prelit tree?
I was given a very nice prelit christmas tree. However, it has multi-colored lights on it. I really want clear lights. Is it possible to change all of the light bulbs on the tree to clear lights? If so, where do I buy that many clear bulbs?

A: Pour yourself a tall drink of hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps. Put on a L-O-N-G playing cd of christmas music or 'It's A Wonderful Life'. Gather as many family members as you can find to help. Smile ALOT. And change those bulbs!!! A good place to buy Christmas bulbs in bulk (maybe pull them from a string?) is on eBay or through a wholesale site. Sam's Club, or visit Bronners.com (biggest christmas store in the U.S.) I hope you can do this so your Christmas tree is as pretty as you want it and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!! P.S. Check the base of the bulbs - you'll have to see if it's a common base to be able replace the bulbs with spares, or if you need to pull the bulb itself. In that case, once you pull it, you'll see 2 wires that hang down. Just grab a new bulb without a base, push the 2 wires through the holes, and wrap them around their corresponding sides. Hope this helps!

Q: What Christmas tree theme should I go with?
I will use clear lights, but am willing to add a few others. I need to know the perfect theme for my tree. Something very traditional. Some deep wholesome color! This will be used for my tree next year. I figured I would ask now since we are all in the holiday spirit! Merry Christmas Everyone!

A: I helped decorate the tree at a local business this year. It is very simple, but really pretty. All the balls are gold. The lights are clear. There are small red bows and gold bows all over it. On top is a big red and gold shimmery bow that cascades all the way down the tree. It's beautiful and shouldn't cost much. The bows are about 2-1/2 to 3" across - the kind you get at WMart or similar store in packages of about 12, and they have twist ties on them to secure them to the tree.

Q: What is the color of the lights on your Christmas tree?
It's clear =P and the star is multi colored

A: I have multi-colored and white lights XD Hehe Happy early Christmas! XD
