Does anyone have any sites or instructions for a cute, but not so easy a four year old could do it, ornament?? Thanks!

A: Take clear plastic ornaments. Open the top and lightly squeeze gold/red or green paint down the sides(thin layers all around). Sprinkle glitter in before the paint dries or Christmas confetti. Screw the top back on and hang on tree! Wa-La!

Q: What can I do with HEAVY NETTING ON A ROLL? I bought it to make some small ornaments for my Christmas tree.?
I cut some squares and twisted them down in the middle. Then wired them together and inserted them into the tree. It was very simple. Now I'm looking for something else to do with the netting. It's really thick, plastic and about 3 feet wide. Red in color. Any ideas?

A: It would make a cute ultra-modern doll dress. Or you can make a pouf about the size of your fist, stitch with heavy thread and use it for a potscrubber. You could make a bag or sling to store tub toys or shampoo. Or mix birdseed with peanut butter and hang it in the netting to feed birds.

Q: I make Christmas ornaments with my scrollsaw, is there any place to advertise and sell besides Ebay??

A: Your local newspaper.

Q: Does anyone know how to make a cute Christmas Tree ornament that is cute and original?
I need some ideas for some Christmas tree ornaments that are moderately easy so make and look cute and original.

A: If someone else gives you the idea, can it still be considered original? I really like crocheted decorations. Very country Christmas feeling (angels, santa, reindeer, candycanes, snowflakes, etc.).

Q: How do I make a paint sealer with glue and water for preschoolers making ornaments?
My preschool class is making christmas ornaments and I need to find a recipe for a glue and water paint sealant to preserve the paint and ornament.

A: eggs.....egg tempora?

Q: Making Christmas Ornaments that require a cork center, any ideas?
When making Christmas Ornaments with a cork center, how do I make it sturdy enough to hold 10 corsage pins without falling apart? The instructions for this ornament include arranging 10 corsage pins with beads on them in a 1/4 inch cork which always falls apart by the time I get the ninth or tenth pin in. I hope this explains what I'm trying to do.

A: How about dipping your corks in something like polyurethane or a similar type of sealer? That might hold the corks together better and give you a chance to get the pins in.

Q: Did you ever make baking soday ornaments for Christmas or for art classes?
What else did you make other than ornaments?

A: There were the paper garlands that were ugly, stinging popcorn and cranberries, those were messy too. Paper Mache was fun but messy. Pigs made out of clorox bottles, purses made out of cigar boxes.

Q: Anyone know a way to clean non-colorfast felt on vintage Christmas Ornaments?
I need to clean up some old vintage Pixies. However, they all have at least 2 different colors of felt used to make them, of course it's all noncolorfast. Is there an easy way to clean them, without having the colors run into each other or doing damage to the felt itself?

A: about the best you are going to be able to do with felt is brush it with a stiff brush. There's no way to make non-colorfast material (which felt definitely is) into colorfast material. Just hope the ornaments age gracefully.

Q: how many christmas ornaments could a glassblower make in a day ...?

A: Have you made it to 90 yet?

Q: Any cute ideas for Christmas ornaments?
Me and my sister are bored out of our minds and really excited for Christmas, so we're looking for ideas for ornaments we can make. All we could think of are those things that are like paper machette but with string. Any suggestions?

A: We would make ice cream cone ornaments. Take a satin ball ornament and put it in an ice cream cone using a special frosting that you make that hardens and acts as glue. A dollop of the frosting on top and a tiny shiny ball ornament as the "cherry". Sorry that I don't have the recipe for the frosting/glue. I made these for friends one year instead of buying gifts. I wrote their names on them with sparkly puffy paint.

Q: Where can I find Biederman Brass Christmas Ornaments in Wisconsin?
I think I ordered them from an Eagle River Christmas shop last year but can't find my old receipt for an address or phone number.

Q: How to make our first Christmas special, ornaments? Help!?
My fiance and I have been in our new house for almost two months now, and friday morning we are driving home to Michigan to see our families for Christmas, but I still want us to have a Christmas here in our new house, instead of not doing anything. It's our first Christmas here and I want to have special memories about it even if it's not on Christmas day. So, I got the idea to maybe make some kind of "wish" ornaments, where we could each write our wishes for the Christmases to come in our new house. What do you think of this, and can anyone tell me how I could do it? Like, what supplies I should buy etc. It's the only thing I could think of so any other advice would be great! Thank you! btw, I posted this in weddings because I'm always in this section and have seen a lot of creative ideas here

A: go to a crafts store like "Michaels" or "Hobby Lobby" and get the plain wooden cutouts of stars, bells, etc. Then get some red, green, etc. paint and a gold or silver metallic marker and maybe some glitter glue and such. Also, some cute ribbon as hangers. Paint the cutouts and let them dry completely. Take each of the cutout and write out your wish on the ornament and decorate with glitter and such. That is such a cute idea and something that you will cherish as the years to come. Something I have done with my husband and kids and each year when we put up the tree we go to the store and each one of us gets a "special" ornament for that year. We plan that we the boys grow up and have homes of their own that we will give them their "special" ornaments as housewarming gifts for their first Christmases.
