Q: Where can I buy a small, pre-lit or fiber-optic Christmas tree?
By small I mean 1-3 feet tall. Also, I am looking for a store that sells them "in person" ... I'd rather not buy it online and wait for it to be shipped.
Thanks!
I tried Wal-mart and they were all sold out. Last year, someone I know got one at the Dollar Store ... so I tried one today and they didn't have any.
Just lookin for a few more ideas. :)
A: I don't know where you live but I've seen them at Michaels & the Red Bee and little boutique shops usually have them...or a florist....hope you find it. ♥
Q: where is the best place to buy a fiber optic LED christmas tree?
the only one i've seen this year is at wal-mart. hoping to find better quality for less than $100. i've tried lowe's and home depot's websites with no luck.
A: Have you tried calling Lowes and Home Depot? If you can't find one locally, this site has a lot to choose from in many different sizes

And, Overstock.com has at least one. They ship anything for $2.95:

Q: My fiber optic Christmas tree isn't working...?
We've had this tree for probably two years, and it has always worked perfectly until this year. I plugged it in, and it was working fine. Then like 10 minutes later I turned around and it had shut off. We opened up the bottom and replaced the bulb, but it's still not working.
Could it be something else? Is there a fuse or something? We haven't been the gentlest when handeling the tree (I know I've dropped the base quite a few times...) but It had been working for a while and then it randomly turned off. Is there any way to fix it or is it just a goner?
Thanks so much!
Merry Christmas,
Trisha :)
where would the timer be? ah! we don't have a man in our house so none of my family knows how to do this kind of stuff...haha :)
A: This happened to me too. The motor does not turn, the light does not come on. I know the wall outlet is good, so I tried another AC adapter that was 12V but not enough mA. I'm not sure, but I think my base unit is fried. No fuses in the base for me to replace...dang.
Searching around on Google for replacement bases and it doesn't look like there is a market for this item. I'm thinking a trip to Walmart for a replacement 6' tree now. Other than eBay, they've had the best price I've seen.
Q: I have a 4 ft fiber optic Christmas tree. How do you open the base to change the light bulb?
The box said to change the light bulb in the base when it didn't light up. I don't have the instructions and can't find anyway to open the base to change it. Do you have any idea? It is a Christmas Time tree from Wal-mart or Target. Thanks for any help.
The box on the tree says to change the bulb when it doesn't light. It has a rotatong base. I have tried everywhere to unscrew or open the bottom to change it and can't find any way to open it. Doyou have any idea?
A: I will tell you how mine works. Yours may be similar. Take the tree out of the stand. Turn the stand upside down. There will be a small "door" held in place with one or more screws. Remove the screws, then the door. You should then be able to reach the bulb to change it.

Q: We have a Fiber Optic Christmas Tree, can anything be placed around the base?
we leave a gap from the base (like 1 or 2 inch or so for ventalation)
A: It's best to follow the manufacturers warnings. I have a small one I use at work and they advice NOT to place anything near the base as that is where the light bulb (a very hot one) is located. They also recommend not to run it for more than 10 hours at a time.. Please be careful so you can enjoy your Christmas day.

Q: we need this adapter for a fiber optic christmas tree?
A: yes you do.
Q: Hi, Does anyone know where I can find replacement color wheels for fiber-optic Christmas Trees?
Mine got stuck and fried. The tree is an import, came without a booklet and so I have no recourse to buying replacement wheels.
The one I have is plastic (mylar or lexan?) and measures 6 1/4" and has a multiple color pattern on it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, believe me!
Cheers,
Fred
A: try christmas stores, they usually have every kind of different tree
Q: A real tree for Christmas or a fiber optic artificial one ?
A: i say a fake tree for christmas day i can't see a tree to die for just a couple of days for christmas that is not what it is for trees are for oxygen and to live not to die just to put ornament on for christmas .
Q: Which type of Christmas tree do you prefer?
1) An artificial tree
2) A real tree
3) A fiber optic tree
What type will you be putting up this year?
I will be putting up a fiber optic tree. I love the changing colours and it saves buying decorations for it.
A: I like the fiber optic ones and that's what I put up every year. No mess with them and you never have to decorate them. They also last for years and they look great with their ever changing ray of colours.
Q: I need replacement tree bulb - I bought 2 @ WalMart and tree doesn't lite up... H E L P?
fiber optic Christmas tree needs a replacement bulb
A: Read the instruction brochure that came with the tree
there is a Phone # for Customer Service Questions
Q: Why does my tree lean?
I just bought one of those small revolving fiber optic christmas trees. But it leans to the side. Is there something I'm doing wrong setting it up? I just sat it down in the base & shaped the limbs. Anyone have any experience with these things?
A: I use them and you just have to make sure it is on a level surface. When you bend the branches and add ornaments, make sure it is evened out. Just keep turning it and make sure it is down inside correcting. Maybe it is what you have it on , which you can use a small tree skirt or put some cardboard under one side to even it out. Try bending the branches different ways until it looks even. Good luck and have fun!
Q: Where can I buy 120VAC input/12VAC output electric plug-in for fiber optic X-mas tree? Burnt mine out. Thanks.?
Where can I buy 120VAC input/12VAC output electric plug-in for fiber optic X-mas tree? Burnt mine out. Thanks.?
I burnt out the plug-in that connects my BOTO fiber optic tree, and now I cannot plug it in to the wall. BOTO is no longer in business, but I still would like to run my tree, as it is only 1 year old.
Radio Shack does not sell this type of ampage. I have already tried, and this is what I was told by the manage. He stated that this was a hard-to-get item.
I am looking to find specific sites on-line to buy this item. I do not want to spend countless hours searching the net... only to not find anything. If anyone has any specific information as to where to purchase this item at, please let me know. Just telling me to "go on-line" is not helpful.
Thanks & Merry Christmas!
A: 120:12V is easy.
Don't know what current you need but there are several places I would suggest.

4) www.midwestsurplus.com Midwest Surplus in Fairborn OH - across the street from WPAFB
5) Mendahlson's salvage in Dayton OH (the worlds hamfest supply and monster junk pile)
6) www.digikey.com
7) www.debco.com
Q: Christmas Tree Debate?
My BF and i are debating over the tree, the facts are as follows:
1) I spent £50 on a pretty fiber-optic tree
2) BF says it is far too early to display it
3) I compromised by suggesting Dec 1st
4) He says this is still too early and that 2 weeks before Christmas Day is appropriate
5) House is mine and he doesn't live here!
Who do you agree with?
PS.
£££ is correct - I am Scottish!
When is Thanksgiving? Sorry - i don't know.
Love JoFo's answer!
A: I agree with the tree.
Q: I've lost a 12V 3200mA adapter, what does the 3200mA mean? Can I use another adapter from around the house?
The adapter belongs to a fiber optic Christmas tree. I have several adapters around the house but, don't know which one would be safe or what AD, DC, watt, or mA to look for. I'm not even sure what kind of universal adapter would work.
A: The 3200 mA is the max current that the adapter can handle. If its a DC adapter you need to use a DC adapter if its an AC adapter then you need to use an AC adapter. 3200mA is 3.2 Amps which is a considerable amount of power for a decoration you might have trouble finding one that will fit the nothing else I know of uses this much power other then maybe a laptop also if there is polarity markings those have to be heeded as well they should look like this -------_(0+<---------
Q: When is the best time to put up the Christmas tree?
I usually leave it until the weekend before Christmas. Am I leaving it too late or do you think it should be up earlier?
I have a fiber optic one in case you are wondering.
A: I put mine up around the 8th of December. Some of my neighbours have theirs up since mid November which is crazy to me.
