Q: Photo board layout ideas or simple scrapbook layouts that could be done on giant poster boards?
I am making photo boards for my sisters birthday party, and would like some ideas on cute ways to make the boards look nice. I will be using fairly large photo boards so some of these scrapbook ideas I see online won't work for these boards. She is turning 31 so I would like it to look clean, modern but still fun. Anyone have any ideas or websites that could help me?
A: I think you should re-ask your question on the Y!A "Hobbies & Crafts" ideas, I bet you would get a lot more helpful answers that way. It's 5 points to ask again, but worth it cuz you will get answers. =)
Q: Does anyone have any photo ideas for a dog scrapbook?
I plan on doing a scrapbook of my bichon frise, but i first need to take more pictures of her. What are some ideas for cute pictures? I plan on taking some of her in a wagon, sticking her head out the car window, lying on a bed, etc but I need more ideas. She doesn't hold still for very long, as she is still a puppy.
A: if you have a garden you can take a picture of her beside a few flowers. take a picture of her while she's sleeping and put a bonnet on her head and put a baby bottle beside her. Get a younger brother or sister or some sort of kid to hug her in the backyard beside a tree. I f these ideas help then i wish you the best, If not then im sorry that i couldnt help to a further extent.
Q: Are there any baby scrapbook ideas?
Was wondering if anyone had any good baby scrapbook ideas, or if anyone knew of any good websites for baby scrapbooks.
A: I wonder if your photos are digital or not. If they are, there are some great sites that offer digital scrapbooks and all you do is click and drop your photos into pre-designed pages. Click on the link below for FREE software to create a digital scrapbook.

If they are not digital, you can always purchase baby kits.
Q: Scrapbook ideas for girlfriend? HELP WITH IDEAS PLEASE?
What scrapbook ideas can i do for my girlfriend for our 1 year? Ideas please. I need lots of ideas that can fill up to 10 pages (front and back), pleasee, 10 points.
A: Ok, so me and my hun have this thing were we at least take one good monthly picture as a couple (picture taken by us at whatever location we are at) & if its a really good picture we use it as our "our picture" So, I suggest that if you have a picture of you two when you first got together...that would be great as a page starter. & it would be nice to close the scrapbook with a current picture of you two & maybe a letter hand written to her next to it.
Throughout the rest of the album you can add w/e other pictures you may have of you two. Ticket stubs to places you have been to, movies etc. You can also do a page for js you (w/ name & up close pix) with things you like. For example...your favorite color, movies, songs places to be at etc. Same for her. Do a page for her w/ her name & pix.(a good focused up close pix). Kinda showing that opposites do attract.
An 8x8 scrapbook would be a perfect size (since its so far one year & probably not much to add) Use nice card stock, stickers, embellishments & journal down little notes like " remember this place? you loved it" etc.
Good Luck Im sure she'll love it!! :D

Q: What are some good ideas for my Beta Club scrapbook?
I'm competing in Scrapbook this upcoming weekend. The theme of our book is "Road Trip". So far we have done the membership pages which have each member on a "License" with maps as backgrounds. I using those green signs with the name of the city in how many miles as the content page, and a billboard as the title page. I need help with what to do on the officer pages, and service and activity pages. The activity pages and service pages are basically pictures and captions, I just need theme ideas. Thanks so much! We really want to win!
A: Route 66 with its vintage signs, the 50 states, do a convertible with everyone's picture collages into the seats, a junk food page/spread (you know like Funyuns and truck stop burritos), National monuments or places people take road trips to like the Grand Canyon or from the snow country to the south.
Hope that helps.

Q: Scrapbook ideas for a friend in the Military...?
OK... I have fallen completely in love with a friend of mine in the military. We were introduced by a mutual friend, but have never actually met. He is currently serving his second tour of duty in Iraq. We talk and email as often as he is able. And our relationship has really gotten serious in the last couple of months. I have every belief in the world that this man is my prince charming. I have bought books and done some extensive research to make sure that this "military life" would be something that I could handle. And I have put my heart into it! So.... I thought that I would throw myself into a hobby to pass the time. I love scrapbooking... So, I decided to start a scrapbook for him to share when he returns. I have downloaded and printed all the pictures I have from him and even printed some of the sweet emails that he has written me and some pictures of me to include in his present. But I was wondering if there was any other ideas for things to include....
A: You need to know what group he is in for instance if he is navy then what ship he is on. If he is army what battalion I guess is the word. If you look on the military web site you can pull up interesting info for that particular group. Like my husband was on the USS John F Kennedy and I pulled all kinds of interesting facts. How tall it is, how many people it holds and they should have photos too. Also have him send you money from the places he has been and old uniforms so you can put pieces in his scrapbook. You can also get pictures of friends and family and name that page Family and Friends awaiting your return home so he can see all the people who supported him. The list goes on and on.
Q: What are good ideas for displaying pictures for a scrapbook?
I've seen several ways to display pictures in a scrapbook to save pages--a flip book, folding pages vertically/horizontally and even in one of those paper game fortune tellers kids play with (with numbers or colors). Any other ideas? I've been trying to look on sites but I'm not sure what to search under.
A: http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/shows_scb/0,2044,DIY_14332,00.html has TONS of scrapbooking ideas, plus there's a tv show that you can watch that does some of the ideas on the website.
Q: I am looking for something cool to do with Baby shower cards. To be put in a scrapbook. Any Ideas???
I want to keep these cards but I am not sure what to do with them besides leave them in a box to be sifted through. I am doing my daughters scrapbook and I thought maybe I could include them somehow but I need some ideas.
A: Set a goal to preserve the special & unique--and cull the cards that are run of the mill or from your boss' wife's sister. Maybe only 2 or 3 cards of the bunch should be kept whole.
Cut out cute graphics from your discards to embellish the pages. Cut out the signatures from the cards, or even the interior message & signature, and make separate scrapbook pages for each shower you had. Each page or spread of 2 pages can serve as a "guest book" for your daughter to see who her early fans were.
Q: Are there any good free scrapbook websites for ideas?
I love scrapbooking and I need ideas, I want some lettering ideas too, i can draw just about anything but I need inspiration in order to draw the stuff. Thanks
A: Try http://www.scrapblog.com/
It's more image driven than textual, but it can give you some ideas.
Q: Does anybody have any ideas on how to create your own scrapbook binding?
I want to make my own scrapbook binding without having to buy a binder from a store...I've thought about binding tape but does anyone else have any other ideas?
A: Martha Stewart does accordian pages - fold a long length (or many attached lengths) of paper accordian-style and then glue the outside pages together with a single cover. The pages won't be affixed to the binding, but it is nevertheless pleasing to use. Note that you will not be able to add and remove pages with this type of album.
Q: Any ideas for a gift scrapbook theme?
Several years ago, I made my parents an ABC scrapbook. I did a page for every letter of the alphabet, with pictures of my kids and the other grandkids, and even old pics of our family. It was the best thing I've ever done, artistically. (And it was the only scrapbook I've ever done.)
Now I'd like to make them another scrapbook, but I can't think of a theme. ABC was easy -- got any other ideas that a creatively-handicapped person like myself could do?
A: What about doing a "then/now" theme? Or do one about their careers/hobbies. Include pictures of them in uniforms or in front of places they worked. Look up how much things cost before they got married and the prices of the same items now: a loaf of bread, a new car, a house, a gallon of milk... Get pictures of their homes before and pics now to see any changes.
Try to find billboard ads/commercials and jingles. You might be surprised to hear them singing some of them.
Q: Scrapbook ideas for my bestfriend?
Im 14 and wanna make a scrapbook for my bestfriend for her birthday. I have made scrapbooks for family members
before but there more like picture books.
I have no clue what to put in this scrapbook any ideas?
do you no any good websites?
thank you so much<333
A: A pre-made scrapbook kit might be the best thing for you. SEI makes some cute 8in by 8 in kits "Scrapbook in a Bag". In the kit, the papers are already cut to the right size and it comes with cute stickers and ribbons, etc. to match. All you need is scissors, glue and pictures.
I helped a 10 year old make her first scrapbook using "Aunt Gerti" scrapbook in a bag - and it turned out really cute.
